A British tourist who plunged to her death from a sixth-floor balcony in Ibiza has been named as Emma Ramsay, a 19-year-old from Scotland.
Ramsay, from Hamilton, was enjoying a holiday with friends on the island when she plunged from the four-star Hotel Vibra District on Tuesday.
Paramedics were called to the seafront hotel shortly after 3 am but declared the 19-year-old dead at the scene.
The teen’s parents are believed to have flown from Scotland to the Spanish island.
Emma had been sharing pictures and videos of the holiday on social media as she celebrated with her friends only hours before the tragedy.
Footage shared on her TikTok profile showed her dancing before a night at the Hi Ibiza club.
Other images show the University of Strathclyde student with her friends in an elevator and then posing on a balcony at Cafe Del Mar.
