OKMULGEE, Okla. (TCN) — Three people face charges after allegedly abducting a man last week and forcing him to jump off a bridge and into traffic, causing injuries.

According to a media release from the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office, on July 25, deputies responded to a report of someone jumping into traffic. Authorities found a male victim who was “badly injured,” and emergency personnel transported him to a hospital for immediate medical attention.

Upon further investigation, the sheriff’s office learned the victim was allegedly kidnapped and “forced off the bridge after being bound with duct tape.” Authorities also recovered a firearm they believe was used in the incident.

The sheriff’s office identified three suspects during their investigation: Brianna Nohmer, Jaysen Lawson, and Sean Lunney. Records show they were all booked into the Okmulgee County Detention Center on July 25.

According to a probable cause statement reviewed by NBC News, the victim’s ex-girlfriend told authorities that Lawson, her brother, and Lunney abducted the man and brought him to a river with the intention of killing him.

Lawson reportedly told investigators that Lunney forced the victim “to jump off the bridge” at gunpoint.

Lunney allegedly taped the victim’s mouth, hands, and feet after he survived the jump. The two men reportedly drove the victim to another part of the bridge, where Lunney forced him over “while still constrained.”

According to NBC News, the probable cause statement does not detail Nohmer’s involvement.

Lawson remains held on charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit a felony, and kidnapping. His bond was set at $300,000.

Nohmer was charged with assault with intent to kill and kidnapping, and she remains held on $250,000 bond.

Lunney was booked into the Okmulgee County Detention Center on charges of aggravated assault and battery, kidnapping, and pointing a firearm. His bond was also set at $250,000.
