CLARK COUNTY, Wash. (TCN) — A 34-year-old man accused of fatally stabbing his older sister reportedly told police that she had been poisoning him over the course of several years and it made him depressed.

On Sept. 18, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a disturbance with a weapon at Diane Robinson’s home near the 7500 block of Northeast 123rd Court in Vancouver. The caller said he went to check on Robinson after not hearing from her in several days, and contacted her brother, Dwayne Robinson, when he got there. Dwayne Robinson allegedly told the caller that he stabbed his sister and killed her.

Deputies arrived at the home and detained Dwayne Robinson. While searching the home, they found Diane Robinson deceased. Her brother was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder.

According to court records cited by The Oregonian/Oregon Live, Diane Robinson’s body was located in the kitchen and covered by a blanket.

While speaking with investigators, Robinson allegedly claimed his sister poisoned him, which caused him “depression, sadness, and pain.”

KOIN-TV reports Robinson allegedly used a hunting knife in the stabbing.

He is being held at the Clark County Jail without bail.
