Flights have been grounded, trains stopped and Sky News taken off air after a mass outage of Microsoft systems has wreaked havoc across the world.
Banks, contactless payments and medical systems have been impacted following the outage.
In the UK, GPs are struggling to access their booking system according to reports, with some practices unable to schedule appointments.

Holidaymakers are also facing disruption, with airports across the US, Germany and Spain reporting IT issues.
Ryanair warned customers: “Potential disruptions across the network (Fri 19 July) due to a global third party system outage.
The exact cause of the mass outage is unclear, but cybersecurity company Crowdstrike, has blamed the issue on “content deployment”.
Crowdstrike said it had received “widespread reports of BSODs (blue screens of death) on Windows hosts”.
In a statement on X, Microsoft 365 said: “Our services are still seeing continuous improvements while we continue to take mitigation actions.
“We still expect that users will continue to see gradual relief as we continue to mitigate the issue.”
