The search for missing Briton Jay Slater continues in Tenerife a week after he was last contacted.
The 19-year-old from Lancashire was at a music festival in the northwest of the island before leaving the event with two people he had just met.
He ended up a 10-hour walk from his accommodation. An Airbnb owner told Jay there was a bus due at 10am, but she later told police that she saw him walk off that morning.
At just after 8am that morning, Jay called his friend Lucy telling her he was running low on phone battery and needed water.
This was the last time he was contacted. His last live location was in Rural de Teno Park, known for its mountainous terrain.

Police have been searching for a week now, and Jay’s family are also now in Tenerife as they pray he returns safely.
British police have offered to help with the search, but their Spanish counterparts turned down the offer.
In a statement released late on Friday the UK police force said it had “made an offer of support to the Guardia Civil” but this was declined after local cops said they were “satisfied that they have the resources they need.”
The full statement from Lancashire Police read: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with Jay’s family at this time.
“They must be going through the most distressing ordeal not knowing what has happened to their loved one.
“We have specialist officers who are continuing to support Jay’s family.
“Whilst this case falls outside the jurisdiction of UK policing, we have made an offer of support to the Guardia Civil to see if they need any additional resources.
“They have confirmed that at this time they are satisfied that they have the resources they need, but that offer remains open and they will contact us should that position change.
“Once again, our thoughts remain with Jay’s family and friends at this distressing time.”
